Which means it does not matter that your website is hosted in the US or in India. Because CloudFlare has 74 global data center network presence in the world. CloudFlare serves a cached version of your website to nearest location of visitor. For example if your site hosted in the US & your visitor comes from India then Cloudflare will serve your site from Indian data center.
CloudFlare offers free SSL & protects our website from hackers. It blocks bad bots & attackers by identifying the IP address. They can not reach your website. Also if IP is not available in CloudFlare database and CloudFlare finds any suspicious activity by the visitor then it will give a challenge to visitor. How to Signup Cloudflare account?
First go to CloudFlare account sign-up page-
On the Signup page enter your e-mail id in the first & second box and a good password in third & fourth box. Tick the agreement check box & then hit Create Account button.
Now you have successfully signup Cloudflare account.
How to setting up Cloudflare nameservers with your default nameservers?
After Signup you will see Get Started With CloudFlare page. Here enter your website domain & click on Scan DNS Records button.
Wait for few moment While DNS is not completely scanned. After completion click on continue button.
The next screen will show your domain’s existing record. And www and non-www version will appear with the orange-colored cloud icon. Which means that your both www & non www website on Cloudflare. Don’t do anything here just Click on the Continue button.
On next page choose Free Website radio button & click on Continue.
Now it will show you your current Nameservers & Change Nameservers name. Its mean you will need to replace your existing domain name Servers record with CloudFlare Name servers record. Don’t close this page, To change the Name servers, login to your domain hosting account where you have purchased the domain.
After login into domain account, click on domain. To change Click on Name Servers option.
Now delete all existing name servers & replaced with two Cloudflare Nameservers which given in the cloudflare account. After entering click on update Name Servers button.
Now back to your Cloudflare Change your Nameserver page & click on continue. On next page click on Recheck NameServers button.
As soon as you will see success message CloudFlare automatically refresh overview page & You will see your domain overview screen in Green colored and your site on Cloudflare.
Now you have successfully placed your site on Cloudflare.
